Downloading xbind source code

This source code release includes the implementation of the core xbind BIB and a sample connection management and routing service. The distribution should allow you to get a good idea how to use the BIB and to write and extend your own devices.

We have included our makefiles in this release. However, the installation task still requires setup of different variables. Currently, the only way to do this is to edit the Makefile by hand. However, we're working on a autoconf version that would automate this task in the next minor release.

Please note that, due to limited human resources we cannot provide support outside of the OPENSIG participants . We also hope that the participants can lend mutual support to each other.

Finally, we would also like to create a repository containing pointers to xbind related resources (e.g., ports to platforms, extensions to devices). If you would like to have your xbind related web page linked to ours, please send us e-mail.
