Raymond is a Ph.D candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at the COMET Group, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, Columbia University. His research work involves both performance analysis and system implementation of network resource allocation algorithms. His research focuses on network algorithms supporting application adaptation, including utility function formulation, adaptation time scales, dynamic provisioning and incentive engineering.
From 1993 to 1996, He worked at Newbridge Networks Corp. , in the area of ATM switch performance and traffic management. He had M.A.Sc. from University of Toronto, Canada in 1993, and bachelor degree from Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China in 1990.
